Tribute to Rhandee "Little Jacare"

Rhandee has come a long way since he first arrived in the academy. Rhandee is the smallest and one of the oldest (30 years old ) among the young competive lads ranging from 18-25 .Most of the guys is actually ex school or national team for Rugby, Soccer or Basketball. They have at least 20 kg advantage over Rhandee. Besides Rhandee hardly exercised in his whole life.

Rhandee was constantly tapping to guys who were not only bigger, stronger and faster, they were also at their prime of their life. But he never gave up.

Worried that he might quit, I would tell Rhandee how long it has taken me to get my first tap and BJJ is more of a marathon race rather than a 100m dash race. "You will never know who is the real winner until the very end." He would replied, "I'm not going anywhere."

I would help Rhandee as much as I can. I would constantly pushed him really really hard, he never once gave up.

And the rest became history...

1He attained silver in (his first comp) Fightwork Asia Submission Grappling 2009 only losing in the final on points.

2 Missing the final in (his Second Comp) FBT Bangkok Submission Grappling 2009 final to a very very close decision.

Here are some of the matches in Thailand

Match 1 1st Round

Match 2 Quarter Final

Rhandee is now a force to reckon with on the mat.

This is a good testament to

"If you put your mind to it you can accomplish anything "

To rhandee, you are inspiration to all of us.
